「終わった」などと軽々しく言うな

「ヘヴィメタルは終わった」
「オルタナは終わった」
「ドラムンベースは終わった」
「ヒップホップは終わった」
上の４つに「終わった」と云われた時点で終わったものはあるか？
一時的なブームが過ぎ去って「定着」しただけじゃねーの。
世間の関心なんてニワトリ並みなんだから気にせずプレイし続けろ。
時代がひと回りしてまた出番が巡ってきたときにウォーミングアップなんて始めてたら出遅れる。
自分が信じて手にしたものにスポットライトが当たらなくてもそう易々と投げ出すな。

「○○は終わった」と鬼の首でもとったかのようにハシャぐ連中が一番気に食わない。
出て行け。そして二度と戻ってくるな。
